Spoiler Warning!!
OK this strategy allowed me to get a highscore which is number 14 in the world.
The secret is to allow an opening at the edges and don't build too many towers early.
By wave 5 you need to close the gap so you can get the creeps that are only effected by thumpers and lasers.
The pictures should be pretty self explanatory.
Of course this is probably going to destroy my top 14 ranking ...

Actually it works either way... I beat it first try using just thumper towers, working up, without losing a life
