If you have problems opening or saving the config, history or template files then you are using the old version. Check Help -> About, you should be using version 1.0.0.8.

I'm sorry I haven't been in touch, Dave. I've been side tracked with correspondence over edits and stuff for a story to be accepted OS.
As soon as I've tied up the loose ends (hopefully this week), I'll be looking to write and I'll be giving FW a serious workout.
